On it’s own the Winding Stairs has a mild flavor that does not over power the pallet. I picked up a sweet note of molasses and found it okay to relax and enjoy on it’s own. But when I paired it with a bourbon it really enhanced the flavors of the tobacco. Personally, I think this a great choice as a social cigar for any appendant body’s “leaf and barrel” function.
